24-HOUR WALK
Save the Date Saturday, August 2nd - Sunday, August 3rd, 2025
Inspired by our father’s courageous journey with Parkinson’s disease, our older brother Jeff came up with the idea of a 24-hour family walk. Without hesitation, we were all in, never even asking him why or what purpose it served. We just knew. We had lived the challenges our dad faced every single day — especially as his condition progressed.
We wanted to feel, even in a small way, what he experienced: the constant movement from tremors, the unrelenting motion of dyskinesia — even when he was exhausted and silently willing his body to stop.
As we set out on our path — lovingly named Papa’s Path by his grandchildren — we invite our friends to walk beside us. We walk for those living with Parkinson’s, for the caregivers who are always on-call, and for the families navigating a similar journey.
Thank you for supporting the Babbush Family Fund for Parkinson’s Education, Research, and Innovation — and for joining us in honoring our hero, our never-give-up role model: our dad.
Xoxo,
