[fusion_dropcap boxed="yes" boxed_radius="0" color="var(--awb-color5)" class="fusion-content-tb-dropcap"]A[/fusion_dropcap]layna Rowell, CCC-SLP, is doctoral student at Case Western Reserve University and a speech-language pathologist. She worked as a clinician for five years before returning to school, and often cared for people with Parkinson’s disease. Her research interests are related to swallowing disorders in aging, neurodegeneration and systemic disease. She currently works under Dr. Mulheren in the BiSC lab.
